CALL FOR ARTISTS
Looking for artists (dance, music, theater, visual arts, performance art, sculpture, installation, etc.) to take part in an art event in an abandoned train tunnel, a 15 minutes walk from JR Takedao Station,
October 1st, from 15:00 to 22:00.

NEW NEW NEW NOTE
Please note that the tunnel is quite dark, so you have to think of interesting ways to light your artwork or performance. Think candles or flashlights. For sound, you can think battery operated devices or unplugged music. But, for those who can’t go without electricity, THERE WILL BE A GENERATOR AVAILABLE. So people interested in using it will have to share the costs of the location.

SUBMISSION
Artists who wish to take part in the event should send an email to charles_billard@hotmail.com and provide :
- their name / name of their band and individual performers and the genre of artwork or performance;
- a JPG PICTURE (more than 200 KB) and their website or email address to insert in the flyer.

(開催日時：10月1日(土)15:00～22:00)への出演・出品を募集しています。
ダンス、音楽、演劇、ビジュアルアート、パフォーマンス、彫刻、インスタレーション等々幅広く募集します。

トンネルの中は昼間でもかなり暗いため、出品・出演の際はキャンドルや懐中電灯を使用する等、照明を工夫してください。また演奏される場合はできるだけ電池アンプやアコースティック演奏を使用するようにしてください。

Takedao SESSIONS 2008 is an event inviting artists working in various media (music, sound art, performance art, dance, theater, etc.) to take part in improvised sessions that will take place at Takedao (Hyogo), in an abandoned train tunnel and on a beach on the bank of Muko river.Visual and installation artists are also invited to put up their work in the tunnel for a one day exhibition.

This year, no artist line up, no time table, but the unique possibility to listen to and to take part in spontaneous collaborative performances.

Hello Everyone!

Here is the flyer for my new exhibition, at Cafe Absinthe, a really cool place in Kita-Horie, for those who don't know it yet. I will exhibit my most recent paintings, and I would appreciate your critical comments! So be sure to come and see my work and enjoy the cafe's delicious food. I personally recommend their stuffed chicken.

The exhibition will be held from September 3rd to September 30th, with the opening night September 10th starting at 19h00. There will be a live performance from K_Kalna, a sound artist from Kyoto, from 20h00. I enclosed a track for you to give you a taste of what she's doing. Here is her website : http://k-kalna.com/

Okutteru fairu wa watashi no atarashii sakuhin no tenrankai no flyer desu. Konkai wa, Cafe Absinthe to iu tokoro de ni shimashita : Kita-Horie no sugoi ii basho nan desu yo. Watashi no saikin no sakuhin wo misete, anatatachi no iken wo mattemasu!! Sakuhin minagara, Cafe no oishii tabemono no ajimi mo dekimasu. Charles no osusume wa stuffed chicken desu.
